Andreea Istrate

Following graduation from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in 2017, Andreea spent the next two and a half years in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Small Animal Hospital undertaking postgraduate studies. She then moved to the UK in 2020, where she spent several months working as a first opinion clinician in multiple practices in Hertfordshire before starting a rotating internship at Pride Veterinary Referrals in 2021. The rotating internship was followed by one-year internal medicine and diagnostic imaging specific internships in the same practice. Afterwards, she started a Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at Pride Veterinary Referrals in May 2024.

Andreea loves spending time outdoors, walking or hiking with her dog Sophie and cat Iris and spending time with her family.
