Rosario Vallefuoco

Rosario graduated from the University of Naples in 2005.  He subsequently completed a 1-year rotating internship and a 1-year specialised surgery internship at the National Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort, France, before undertaking his 3-year small animal surgery residency training. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgery and he is recognised by European Board of Specialisation (EBVS) as a specialist in the field of small animal surgery.

Rosario has worked both in academia and referral practice and regularly attends advanced & master courses in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. After his residency training he was appointed as a clinician in Small Animal Surgery at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, in 2013 and then joined the surgical team in a busy referral practice in Paris. Rosario joined the Small Animal Surgery team at Pride Veterinary Centre in October 2016. He gained the European Diploma in Small Animal Surgery in February 2020.

Rosario enjoys all aspects of surgery with particular interest for orthopaedic, oncology and neurosurgery and he has published several articles on a variety of surgical topics.

In his spare time, Rosario enjoys running, swimming, ready and travelling.
